FAQ #2: Can you give me a simple explanation of how it works? (Pt.2) If a document needs to be sent to your customer, your employee uploads one and the system will archive the document for later retrieval by your customer. The email that your customer receives will state whatever it was you wanted to be said and will provide a link in the email that, when clicked on, will take the customer to a web page specifically created for that communication. This web page will also contain a graphic that, when clicked on, will download the document onto your customer's computer. When this is done the system automatically makes note of the fact that your customer has actually arrived at the page and records the date, time, username, password, the name of the file downloaded and the IP number of the machine that actually downloaded the file. The system actually saves this information into the database for future retrieval when viewing a project's history. Click here to read the final part of this FAQ or use your back button to go back. |
